THE BEES - New Single, End Of Year Party + More

ON TRACK we were asked to perform on the on track tv show ... it was a great concept, we were filmed playing live and recording tracks straight to vinyl... the show asks all the guest to do a cover version... we didn't want to do an "ironic" cover version of a pop track so we chose a track we love by one of our favourite bands... the track we chose is "the rip" by portishead... it's something different for us, really refreshing... hope you like it TOURING supporting Paul Weller has been incredible... we've stood up strong and delivered a classic bees set to the modfather's fans and they've been loving it!... It's been a real pleasure to support such a legend... really looking forward to our own shows - particularly our end of year party at koko on december 17th... see you down the front ! SINGLE & REMIXES very excited to announce that "winter rose" will be coming out as a single on december 20th... the perfect xmas treat! keep your ears & eyes peeled for the extra special remixes too... we've done a proper old school dub version as well as asking some amazing producers to rework the track ...the results are amazing and bring new flavours to The Bees sound... nicolas jaar takes it down low with a beautiful atmospheric electronic rework... tim goldsworthy turns in an uptempo club version with killer drums and synth & dan the automator comes out of remix retirement just for us to give the track a Gorillaz vibe... enjoy!!
