An evening in with Fiction

elbow: Children In Need Rocks Manchester


'BBC Children in Need Rocks Manchester' takes place on Thursday November 17th at the M.E.N. Arena, and will be hosted by Fearne Cotton, Chris Moyles and David Tennant. It will also be broadcast on BBC One and BBC HD and Radio 1 between 8pm and 10pm.

The Duke Spirit – Rough Trade and listen to the album..
The Duke Spirit are super busy this week – not
only have they been handwriting and wrapping some beautiful books and
photos for the limited edition albums bought from their website,
rehearsing for their instore on Friday (and Scala show next week), they
have also installed a punch bag into Rough Trade East.. punches are
being streamed live to the bands facebook site, check it out here
The band are playing on the first show of the new
series of Later With Jools Holland next week – live show on Tuesday
night (repeats on Friday in case you are out and about), vote for which
BRUISER animal you want on the drum skin for the show on facebook here

Take a swing with The Duke Spirit
To kick off the single release this week and celebrate the release of new album BRUISER next Monday, The Duke Spirit have installed a punchbag and gloves in Rough Trade East this week. Head down, take out your frustrations and have a listen to the new album.

Drum roll please....
The Naked And Famous have been nominated for a
massive FIVE awards for this years New Zealand Music Awards! The
categories are: album of the year, single of the year for Young Blood,
best group, breakthrough artist, and alternative album - a new category
this year. Bloody amazing. Their homeland art + video collaborators
Special Problems are also nominated, in the NZ On Air Best Music Video
category for Punching In A Dream.
